If your horse or donkey has metabolic challenges, get started with the ECIR for the best recommendations and answers to your questions. A knowledgable and dedicated team led by Dr. Eleanor Kellon VMD is quick to answer questions and guide you in keeping your sugar sensitive equine healthy. I recommend this Humble Hoof episode to learn more.

Progressive Hoof Care Practitioners

Working through the PHCP certification program to learn how to best help horses, ponies and donkeys through trimming as well as whole horse considerations of diet, environment and species appropriate care.

The Humble Hoof ——->

Sometimes a podcast changes your life! Chances are good that I will suggest you listen to a Humble Hoof episode as we discuss hooves and horse health. To the right you’ll see some of my most recommended episodes. An extra good day for me is when a new episode is available. I have both been inspired and learned a tremendous amount from The Humble Hoof. Thank you Alicia!

Track Systems (Paddock Paradise)

Fencing off even a simple track system can be of HUGE benefit for your herd. Track systems encourage greatly increased movement and can reduce or eliminate grazing on high sugar grasses. There are a number of Facebook groups dedicated to helping advise on track systems. I am happy to help based on my research as well.
